Whole-Home Power Integration
The Powerhouse Gen 2 is designed for home integration and can connect to compatible home electrical circuits through a transfer switch or power inlet box. This allows the system to supply power to connected home circuits during an outage when properly installed and configured.
Transfer switches and power inlet equipment are not included with the base generator configuration unless specifically stated. Electrical installation should be completed using appropriately rated equipment and in accordance with applicable local electrical codes.
Powerful 120V/240V Split-Phase Output
The Powerhouse provides 7,200W of continuous power and up to 14,400W of peak power. Its 120V/240V split-phase output makes it suitable for a range of compatible household and off-grid loads.
Nature's Generator states that the Powerhouse can support loads ranging from electronics and lighting to compatible refrigerators, well pumps, air conditioners, and water heaters, provided the total connected load remains within the system's rated output.
Expandable Battery Storage
The base Powerhouse includes a 4,800Wh battery. Additional Powerhouse Power Pods can be connected to increase total storage capacity to up to 28.8kWh with five Power Pods.
The Powerhouse Power Pod uses a 48V 100Ah AGM sealed lead-acid battery and provides additional storage for compatible Powerhouse systems.
Expandable Power Output
The Powerhouse system can also be expanded by connecting additional compatible Powerhouse units using the Nature's Generator Powerhouse Combiner, sold separately.
According to the manufacturer, the system can be expanded from 7,200W to 21,600W of continuous power when multiple Powerhouse units are connected.
Multiple Charging Options
The Powerhouse Gen 2 supports three charging methods, giving you flexibility for home backup, renewable-energy, and off-grid applications.
- Solar: Up to 2,000W
- Wind: Up to 1,000W
- AC: 1,300W from a 120V AC source
Solar panels and wind turbines are available separately unless specifically included in a bundled configuration.

Battery Maintenance
The Powerhouse uses an AGM sealed lead-acid battery. Nature's Generator recommends recharging the system every four months during storage to help maintain the battery.
Battery runtime depends on the connected load, power consumption, operating conditions, and available battery capacity. Adding Power Pods increases stored energy and can extend available runtime.
